Last year I met a crow whom I became acquainted with through casual daily meetings in my work parking lot. We developed a friendly relationship based on him showing up and me feeding him.
After awhile, I named him Lemmy.
Lemmy would eventually fly circles around me in the air and get fairly close when he would join me on the asphalt. I would call for him when he wasn’t around, and he would emerge from the trees and I would have a giggle whilst tossing kibble for him to gather.

Eventually, the days grew colder and one day Lemmy no longer showed up.

Last week, a new crow arrived and we are currently in the newness of our acquaintance. I hope Lemmy sent him and he brings friends.
