In this workshop we focus on
- Stop the Bleed training to empower and build foundational skills for a bleed emergency
- Libre Knife Fighting Guild concepts with emphasis on Elements 1 - 4
- Face and Eye
- Neck and Body
- Pendulum
- Collapsing
- Utilizing retention bands with edge weapons
- Wrap up session with optional scenario based training to pressure test Stop the Bleed techniques on self and others

Misti El holds a Journeyman Instructor rank in Libre Knife Fighting Guild, promoted by founder Scott Babb, and serves as the Chapter Head for the Libre Knife Fighting Guild Pittsburgh B.C. 412 Chapter.

As a practitioner of Filipino Martial Arts, she was awarded Double Gold Medals in Single Stick and Double Stick Fighting at the 2023 Arnold Sports Festival Battle of Columbus / Martial Arts World Games.

Additionally, Misti is a primary self defense instructor with weekly local classes. Whilst her passion is for blades, she is also ranked as purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and enjoys Gi and No-Gi grappling.

Judd Ekis has been a law enforcement officer since 2006. He has been on his department’s SWAT Team since 2009, and currently holds the role of Entry Team Leader.
In October of 2020 he started Know HOW Dynamics, a venture into helping train the average person to be safer and more secure in a variety of environments. He teaches firearms course as well as Stop The Bleed and situational awareness/self protection courses.

Training location will be sent to registered participants 48 hours leading up to the event.

Things to bring:
- Eye protection - clear safety glasses
- Tourniquet- for training (optional)
- Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting messy from STB scenario training

All registrations are refundable only up to 7 days after registration purchase.

If Libre Knife Fighting Guild Pittsburgh cancels event for any reason, all student registration fees for event will be refunded in full.

No experience necessary, this event is built for all levels.
